Awarded GBP 1,000 from the Geological Society of Glasgow for mineralogical and geochemical analysis on the Gairloch metamorphosed VMS deposit, NW Scotland.

E4 Doctoral Training Partnership-CASE project

A highly competitive project-based studentship led by the School of Geosciences at the University of Edinburgh with a total RTSG of up to GBP 21,000 provided by the UK Research Institute (UKRI)-Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) and Black Raven Mining. The PhD offer was given to only 25 (including 18 UK citizens and 7 internationals) out of 697 total applicants (including 284 UK citizens and 413 internationals).

Best Student Prize of ExploreSA: The Gawler Challenge

Awarded AUD 20,000 as the best student team during the global online competition from the Government of South Australia. The challenge is to identify or predict areas of potential mineralization within the Gawler region, using any technique. Our submission was entitled "MineSAM: Specialized Machine Learning for Mineral Targeting". MineSAM is Sparveon Advanced Machine (SAM) dedicated for area prospecting using machine learning. Methods of analysis include remote sensing, deposit type characterization and mineral characterization approach, targeting for IOCG, Banded Iron Formation, epithermal, orogenic gold, ortho-magmatic, sediment hosted, and diamond deposits.

Best Student Research Poster

An annual national scientific poster competition open for all students and fresh graduates held by Indonesian Society of Economic Geologists (MGEI) where this year is along with its 11th annual convention. There were twenty shortlisted finalists with technical posters to attend the convention in which the winner will have a chance to present poster in the main convention. My research topic was "Revealing the Complexities from Ore Genesis to Exploration Key Features of Low-Intermediate Sulfidation Au-Ag-Base Metal Sulfide Epithermal Deposit in Cibeber Area, Bayah Dome Complex, Banten”.

Monbukagakusho (MEXT) Scholarship

Japan's most prestigious academic scholarship offered by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sport, Science and Technology (MEXT). This scholarship supports foreign students who study in higher education institutions, selected either based on the recommendation of Japanese Embassy/Consulate General, University, or Authority where in this case I got the University recommendation for my Master Study.

3rd Winner Geology Open Challenge

A biennial geomapping team competition held by Department of Geological Engineering, Jenderal Soedirman University (UNSOED) open for undergraduate students from all universities in Indonesia. The team consists of 3 students who have to map a 12 m² area of paleovolcanic terrain and present their results as a scientific poster and oral presentation.

Silver Medal on National Earth Sciences Olympiad

The National Earth Science Olympiad is one of nine majors (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer, Economics, Earth Science, Geography, Astronomy) of the most prestigious national science olympiad for high school students in Indonesia. This national olympiad is final stage joined by selected representatives from each province after two highly competitive stage in district and provincial selection. The silver medal is given to the top 10% of the finalists.

Runner Up on National Earth Science Competitions

An open competition for high school students who interested in Earth Sciences (geology, geography, meteorology, oceanography and astronomy) held by several top universities in Indonesia such as Gadjah Mada University (UGM), University of Indonesia (UI), Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) and Diponegoro University (UNDIP). Several winnings achieved including:
-Two times in a row as 2nd Runner Up on National Earth Science Competition 2012 and 2013 in UGM
-1st Runner Up and Best Presentation on National Geography Olympiad 2012 in UI
-2nd Runner Up on National Geology Olympiad 2013 in UNDIP
-3rd Runner Up on Geoscience Olympiad 2013 in ITB
