Course Demonstrator

School of GeoSciences, The University of Edinburgh - Part time

Teaching undergraduate students during practical session and fieldwork, ~8hrs/week. Courses: geomaterials (2nd year), ore mineralogy, petrology and geochemistry (OMPG, 4th year), igneous, metamorphic and ore processes (IMOP, 3rd year), introduction to geological records (1st year), earth science for society (1st year), geological evolution of British isle (3rd year).

A global postgraduate internship program part of the Discovery Program, with a research project entitled Critical metals: Indium in the geological cycle and its applicability to mineral exploration.

Supervising brownfield and drilling exploration program in the Ruwai skarn Fe-Zn-Pb-Ag deposits. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to overseeing drilling operations, logging core samples, and analyzing geological data to contribute to the development of an updated resource model and assess the economic viability of targeted areas.

A placement-based undergraduate thesis program in which the main project was about alteration mapping and vein characterization in the Cibeber epithermal polymetallic deposits.

Reporting directly to the Student Affairs Committee and SEG Council, the Students Committee is responsible for advising on matters concerning student involvement in SEG. The committee also encourages cooperation and collaboration between SEG Student Chapters and assists those individuals seeking to establish a chapter.

Organizing several academic-related activities for Indonesian students including peer discussion, seminars, workshops and sharing sessions.

Serving as the secretary with the main responsibility to prepare annual and fieldwork reports.

A community service program organized by Universitas Gadjah Mada. The program includes landslide susceptibility mapping drinking water treatment.
